A new construction home inspection can feel like a redundant inspection. The municipality will send their inspector to inspect their trade related items and all should be good. Here is where TNT picks up where the municipality leaves off.
2. We use thermal imaging for missing insulation, HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) systems, plumbing leaking, roof and foundation leaks and overheating electrical.
3. I was a previous builder and building inspector. I know the building game. I know what goes wrong, what works and what does not work.
4. I have a strong code background to discuss issues with the builders and the code officials when needed.
6. TNT understands structural loads and proper load paths which need achieved when floor and roof loads need to be transferred to the foundation.
We perform Three inspections:
1. Rough Inspection– The HVAC, electrical, plumbing and rough building are completed at this time (before insulation). We use the builders plans to inspect the home.
2. Final Inspection- The final is when everything (except weather related items) is completed . The builder is usually performing their final inspection at the same time.
3. Warranty inspection– The warranty inspection is 11 month after occupancy to create one list for the building. At the 11 month period all of the structure movement is 90 % done. Our Service Area...
